Colonoscopy Preparation

PREPARATION PROCESS:
  • Written instructions, the preparation medication and pro-biotics for after the scope can be collected from our office between 08am to 5pm.
  • If you are from far away, the instructions can be emailed, with a script for the preparation medication. But collection is advised, as questions about the preparation can then be answered.
  • Follow the instructions carefully and diligently. The sucesss of the procedure depends on the preparation, and sometimes the procedure cannot be completed due to poor preparation.
  •  Bowel movements are irregular and very individualistic. Please stay close to bathroom facilities.
  • Watery stools are expected and normal.
